Equity Advisors at the School of Medicine
The Equity Advisor Program at the School of Medicine provides faculty, staff, and students with confidential advice and referral to resources on the topics of equity, diversity, and inclusion. The only topic they cannot keep confidential are violations of University policy, including sexual harassment and violence, but they can refer you to confidential campus resources on those topics.
The equity advisors positions are currently vacant.
The advisors hold office hours, conduct trainings, have monthly catered lunch, and share some teachable items related to equity. They can also meet with your individually by request. The equity advisors will have no agenda, but will be there and ready to have a conversation with you. Office of the Ombuds
The Office of the Ombuds is an impartial resource where anyone (including faculty, staff, and students) with a UCR-related concern can explore potential options, resources, and strategies in an informal, confidential setting. Confidential consultations with the Ombuds office do not constitute notice to the university.

Office of the Vice Provost of Administrative Resolution
The Office of Administrative Resolution is responsible for reviewing and resolving issues of policy, procedure, integrity and collegial relations that have the potential to impact the mission and well-being of the university. These issues include those involving students, staff and faculty. Administrative resolution of issues of integrity and collegial relations can include mediation, informal negotiation, and formal procedures of review and resolution.

Chief Compliance Office/Local Designated Official
The Chief Compliance Officer is UCR's local designated official and works with other campus units to oversee investigations and compliance matters. The Chief Compliance Office is responsible for receiving and investigating complaints under the UC Whistleblower and Whistleblower Protection policies, as part of the office's role in promoting the UC's ethics and compliance program.

Faculty and Staff Assistance Program (FSAP)
The Faculty and Staff Assistance Program (FSAP) is a free, confidential service available to all faculty and staff as well as family members living within their household. The program is designed to help with a broad range of personal concerns.

Campus Advocacy, Resources & Education (CARE)
The CARE office provides prevention education and survivor advocacy support regarding sexual assault, intimate partner (dating/domestic) violence and stalking. Students, staff and faculty can connect with a confidential CARE Advocate to explore academic/housing accommodations, healing support, reporting options, safety planning and more.
